Questions about the Warden of today
« on: August 07, 2010, 02:20:27 pm »

Can some one verify that the warden support in a&o 100025 works? I connected a SC client for an extended duration but not a War3 as I have no key (sold mine on amazon). So I need verification that both SC and War3 warden support within the a&o source on this site still works.

I'm kind of surprised to see that NF is still used commonly these days, so if I can locate the source I may update it to support Warden / Lockdown. Only a handful of people had the NF source so no promises; who knows I may have it buried on a CD some where.

Idk about the source on this site.
But the A&O on war-lords.net defiantly works with SC and WC3.

SC

WAR3

warden doesnt exist anymore.

In most countries selling harmful things like drugs is punishable. How come people can sell Microsoft software and go unpunished?

Thanks Karla, and the source on this site is more up to date than the one on war-lords

warden doesnt exist anymore.
are you sure? why is there still a warden work around app listed...

I assume lockdown is still in effect though, as an earlier version of a&o w/o it wouldn't connect.

Don't suppose either of you have a 100027 change log? Seems the latest I can find is 100025.

guess I won't be needing to track down that source then. still would like to find changelog to a&o 100027, or the actual source.

Warden is currently off, but who knows when it will be enabled again.

when they enable it, it will probably be a different warden. More than likely they won't. they no longer care about legacy games, except diablo 2.

You are probably right. I agree it should be safe to remove the support from bots and just keep a backup. It makes sense now why there are so many new bots, most people couldn't figure out how to import warden.

Lockdown is still in action though right?
