British Petroleum Oil Spill
« on: April 30, 2010, 11:06:21 pm »
Im not sure if anyone has posted this yet, but from the looking I did I couldn't find it anywhere here.

Quote
A handful of federal agencies have recovered more than 20,200 barrels (850,000 gallons) of oily water and had deployed more than 100,000 gallons of dispersant -- which breaks up oil -- as of Thursday evening, according to the Department of Homeland Security.

So here it is http://www.cnn.com/2010/US/04/30/louisiana.oil.spill/index.html?hpt=C1

This is the developing story of the British Petroleum Oil Spill in the Gulf of Mexico. I would have quoted a block of the report but there is simply too much story to have someone read a blurp of a quote. If you haven't read up on this check it out, If you can remember the Exxon Mobile oil spill 20 years ago off the coast of Alaska this is near surpassing that massive spill.
