I saw violin and thought I should share this. Figured it might appeal to the younger crowd. It's Primus playing The Devil Went Down To Georgia

I cant stand most classical music but the grand Siberian orchestra = <3

In most countries selling harmful things like drugs is punishable. How come people can sell Microsoft software and go unpunished?
The Linux philosophy is "laugh in the face of danger". Oops. Wrong one. "Do it yourself". That's it.
Going from Windows to Linux is like trading a glider for an F117.

@ PuD: Primus version BLOWS. I played Devil Went Down to Georgia with my band. It was really fun. The bass solo in the middle there is pretty awesome. Too bad Charlie Daniels doesn't play the violin so well.

speaking of Primus,
Primus - Master of Puppets (Metallica Cover)

You gotta admit that Les Claypool is amazing on the bass.

Edit: Primus sucks! :D

Les Claypool is a God! You like Les Claypool or just that bass solo of his?

I was referring to the bass part of devil went down to georgia, not les claypool. Les claypool is okay but i wouldn't say anything special..

By the way, I listened to Dvorak's 9th, and it's fantastic. It's the only thing I'm listening to right now, 24/7. :d

lol! i actually don't find that very surprising, that's usually what happens when i introduce that piece to people, although don't get too carried away, there are many other great symphonies.

hmph, well you'd probably like a lot of works by Shostakovich since a lot of his pieces were inspiration for the birth of metal... the 2nd movement of his 8th string quartet is a perfect example (its bad recording quality, but you do get the idea):
