Jailout2000
« on: July 26, 2011, 11:18:52 am »
Hi, I'm Jailout2000 or you can call me Carl, I respond to both. Quite a few people know or have heard of me including Vector, Tagban, Lynxy, Ribose, Myst, Arkteqvet, Vanquished, Kyro, and some others (those were all the names I could think of while writing this thread).

Figured since this website gets most of the buzz around Battle.net now days, minus well visit it periodically.

I've been around Battle.net since 2002. I own Starcraft Broodwar, Warcraft III Reign of Chaos + Frozen Throne, and have played all of the Blizzard PC games except for Warcraft 1.

I know REALbasic the most (no comment necessary), Java, PHP, VB6, VB.NET, SQL, Javascript, and as long as I'm not starting a project from scratch, I also know C++ and C#. I've added code to mineserver, the C++ Minecraft server, you can check out my code...I'm Jailout2000 on there. I still program bots for my own use on Battle.net v1, and sometimes give them to friends or the public.

In addition to all of that, I am co-admin of BnetDocs.org with Kyro (Don Cullen), global moderator of BnetDev.net, root admin of Clan-Warp.net, and I also have my own website at Jailout2000.com.

I currently play Minecraft Beta, my account on there is Jailout2000 (obviously). I love to play on the innectis server. As for any other games, my PC is too old to play much else. I can post specs upon request, but fair warning, it may make you cry.

Well come. Don't feed the trolls.

In most countries selling harmful things like drugs is punishable. How come people can sell Microsoft software and go unpunished?
The Linux philosophy is "laugh in the face of danger". Oops. Wrong one. "Do it yourself". That's it.
Going from Windows to Linux is like trading a glider for an F117.

Sup loud. How's it goin?

Don't feed the trolls? But feeding trolls is fun to do :(

And has for vector's channel... well he can tell you all about that but basically he's giving only one shaman out and that's to me, due to some security concerns.

And that shows you, Jailout, how much I trust you. Yes, it's sad I have to do this, but I don't wish to take any chances at the moment. I'll see where I go from there.

But yes, Jailout is quite the funny man, you get to talking to him.

Depends what you call good. If you mean that I'm getting offers from the top 20 colleges in the US, then yes. If you mean that I have no job, no money, no income, then no.

Yeah........

First part sounds good, as for the well money income issue... hope things go well smoothly soon for you.
I hear the recession and unemployment rate in the U.S is the shits still, should apply to either University of McGill in Montreal or UBC here in B.C and just move to Canada ;D

Apparently Vanderbilt wanted me to come for a summer program which I never did, and now Notre Dame in California wants me to come down there and sit in on a class or two, meet a professor, and some other stuffs.
