Code: [Select]
Form2 frm = new Form2();
frm.Show();

edit:

if you're using Visual Basic, it's probably something like:

Code: [Select]
Dim frm As New Form2
frm.Show()

or something, I dunno I don't use VB.NET that often

Visual Basic sucks.  If you have to use it, use VB.NET and not VB6.  To append a variable to an RTB, you need only do something as simple as:

Code: [Select]
richTextBox1.Text += variableName + Environment.NewLine;

Again, that's C# though.  If you want Visual Basic help, somebody else should probably step in lol.

edit: this'll work on the GUI thread, but you'll need an invoke if you plan to do it from elsewhere.

Visual Studio is an IDE and 2010 is the latest version.  It supports a number of languages, but is most commonly used for Visual Basic, C# and C/C++.  Just look at Wikipedia.

Visual Studio .NET contains, C#.Net, C++.Net Visual BASIC.Net and all that, it's better than VB6 by far. As how to make a button work do:

Code: [Select]
Private Sub Button1_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button1.Click
Form2.Show()
End Sub
